Beauty Tips for Moms: 3 Things Busy Moms Need

by Lachelle · This post may contain affiliate links.

As a mom, its a given that there will be some nights you will be up with the baby. Keep reading for beauty tips for moms that will get you looking put together fast!

Long, sleepless nights come with the territory. However, when the sun rises and it’s time to face the new day, do you want to look like you’ve been up all night? No! Especially if you’ve returned to work or simply just have some place to be. With these products no one will know you didn’t actually fall asleep until 3am.

    Look Alive

If eyes are the window to the soul, then my soul must be a tired one. Lack of sleep can leave you looking scary! The first beauty tip for a new mom is to wake up your eyes and hide sleep deprivation with a little eyeliner.

You don’t have to get fancy with the cat eye either, just a simple swipe will do. Pick a liquid liner so that you don’t have to worry about sharpening a pencil.

On the cheap end, available at almost drugstore or grocery store, Maybelline Eyestudio Master Precise All Day Liquid Eyeliner is one of my favorites. For 7 dollars, its a super rich black eye pencil that hasn’t dried out on me. The applicator is a super soft and precise.

Bonus points for you if you have time to swipe on mascara! You’re really trying to look like you got a full nights rest! My absolute favorite mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex. Its amazing!

    Shape Up

You didnt think you could leave the house with those eyebrows did you? Enhancing your eyebrows is a major beauty tip for moms. Its surefire way to look like you pulled it together!

Eyebrows frame your face and set the tone for the rest of your look. Shape up your eyebrows with a pencil, powder or wax. My favorite brow product is a pencil.

Be sure to use small flicking motions with the pencil to do hair like strokes. Make sure to draw in the direction your eyebrows are going. Don’t overextend the arch to get a natural look.

Nobody wants to be seen out with dry or crusty lips! Sorry mama, even having a new baby isnt a good excuse for that. The good news? This is a quick fix.

Lip balm is one of the best beauty tips for moms. My absolute favorite lip balm is by EOS. Its super moisturizing and organic. I keep several of these, I have them all over the place. I keep them in my car, in the bathroom, on my desk. I can keep my lips moisturized wherever I go!

If lip balm is enough for you, feel free to stop here. However, I like a gloss over my lip balm. I use Fenty Gloss bomb in Fenty Glow. Its a nice universal shade, a shimmering rose nude. The formula is moisturizing as well, it contains shea butter. If glossy lips arent your thing, try a nude lipstick. I love brown or pink nudes. Some suggestions:
