If you’ve decided to make the Elf on The Shelf part of your family this year, what better way to welcome them than with this free printable elf adoption certificate!

    Elf Certificate Printable

Making your elf on the shelf official is as easy as 1-2-3. This elf adoption certificate is printed on standard letter sized paper, sized 8.5 x 11.

Once you have it printed out, the first step is to give your elf a name! Ask your little ones what they would like to name the elf.

If you need some inspiration here’s a post about Elf On The Shelf names that will give you plenty of ideas for boy and girl elf names!

Now that your elf has been named, write your family’s name on the second line to show who’s adopting the lucky elf!

Don’t forget to date the certificate for this memorable day.

The certificate has already been signed  by Santa Claus and is sealed from the North Pole.
